Tightwad Training Camp Archive

Thanks for visiting the Tightwad Training Camp blog. This blog is now in archived-only status with no new posts. I've decided to leave it online & accessible due to a request for the information within the older posts.

If you are interested in both frugality and healthy eating, you might enjoy my other blog, Supper In Seconds, where I present recipes from scratch that take 10 minutes or less hands-on time to prepare.

30 Days of Tips - Mops and Buckets

Tip #9: Instead of storing a separate mop bucket somewhere near your regularly-mopped area, use your plastic wastebaskets instead. Most of us have a plastic wastebasket in our first-floor bathroom. It needs to be cleaned anyway, so use it as your mop bucket, rinse well when done & no need to store more stuff & get more unhappy with your (lack of) space.

And on the subject of mops, always buy a mop that has a washable head, like a deck mop. You won't have to replace the head for years. Conveniently, these are also usually the cheapest.
